Connections
The power supply has two connection points:
Input (AC Side)
A pre-attached AC power cord connects the supply to a standard wall outlet.
- The cable is rated for the input voltage range (100–240 V AC).
- Do not modify or extend the input cable.
Output (DC Side - to Controller)
The DC output connects to the Hypnotik FX controller using one of two methods:
- Barrel Jack connector - plug into the barrel jack port on the controller.
- Flip Tab terminals - Flip-up wire terminals on the controller.
The output cable has two conductors:
- Red (+) - 24 V positive
- Black (−) - Ground (0 V)

Load Capacity
The power supply delivers up to 144 W (24 V × 6 A).
Use this table to estimate how much strip length the supply can support:
| LED Strip | Typical Power Per Meter | Max Length at 144 W |
|---|---|---|
| Vibe Pixel COB 784LPM | ~10–12 W/m | ~12–14 m |
| Vibe Pixel COB 720LPM | ~10–12 W/m | ~12–14 m |
| Vibe Pixel 60LPM RGB | ~3–4 W/m | ~36–48 m |
| Vibe Pixel 144LPM RGB | ~8–10 W/m | ~14–18 m |
| Vibe X5 (all variants) | Varies by channel count | See strip data sheet |
For installations exceeding 144 W of LED load, use multiple power supplies. Do not exceed the supply's rated output current.
Safety Notes
- Ensure the power supply is installed in a dry location unless otherwise rated.
- Allow adequate ventilation around the power supply - do not block airflow.
- Use the correct voltage (24 V) controller and strips. Mismatched voltage will damage equipment.
- Do not short-circuit the DC output terminals.
- The power supply includes overcurrent and overvoltage protection.
